@amerllica Sorry for typo I mean the v5. Sure, go ahead for your idea. If you can give me a minimal POC, I can better to understand it.

@amerllica Please hold on, I'm planning to migrate to Webpack v6, React-Refresh etc. I think they will have big impact to the configuration.

Dear bro @wellyshen, the Webpack version is now on 5 beta according to this link. but you said:

I'm planning to migrate to Webpack v6, React-Refresh etc. I think they will have big impact to the configuration.

It's my first question.

And also I wanna work on changing build scenario, if you don't have time right now, may I work on this current issue and send PR?

@amerllica I'm not sure if we need to do it at this phase because it's still in beta and I'm also concerning the compatibility of related Webpack plugins, how do you think about that?

@wellyshen, Dude, It's my bad describing, actually I have two questions:

  1. Why did you say webpack v6? we even don't need version 5 and exactly right, compatibility may be the main issue.
  2. May I work on this enhancement issue? I wanna use webpack-hot-server-middleware and webpack-hot-middleware to make a separated build file for the server and decouple vendor from app
