WebTorrent does not support the Bun runtime.

Running bun install webtorrent will not run all of the required post-install tasks, as this is not the default in Bun. You can run the command bun pm trust --all in your project to allow these to run.

Following this, WebTorrent will still crash, as the utp-native dependency doesn't like the Bun runtime for some reason, creating your WebTorrent instance with utp disabled will allow the application to start, e.g:

import WebTorrent from 'webtorrent'

const client = new WebTorrent({utp: false})

This works and seems to download Sintel successfully, but lacks utp support.

Please do not ignore the issue template and post copywritten material, as we do not support this.
