Can you try with a newer Android version?

@dmarcs works fine on new android versions, but not on android 8.

I wasn't able to reproduce this bug on an emulator using Android 8. I'm not sure why this happens. Maybe the image is too big, and the phone runs out of memory.

My physical device has Android 12. It doesn't seem easy to downgrade.

I think this is related to #57. Since that's now fixed please try again. If it still doesn't work please include the error message.
