Cannot update date fields about editablegrid-mysql-example HOT 2 CLOSED

In update.php, at line 28, some lines reformat the date. Check $value after use it to the query.

I've been playing with it for hours, what a nightmare! How would I check this value, it's in the ajax update script, how can I return it?

Or how can I change the date format of datepicker? Not sure where to add the code (correct?), can't get it to register in demo.js, index,...:
