Hi @elvarb,

Your body seems right, maybe you are not using the correct Content-Type, currently we support two content-types:

  • application/x-www-form-urlencoded
  • application/json

Please use one of them to send your POST Request, for example at the documentation you will find a POST request example using cURL:

curl -u foo:bar -k -X POST -d 'name=NewHost&ip=10.0.0.8' https://127.0.0.1:55000/agents

By the way the error 601 you are getting is not totally right, it should be a different error regarding to "Content-type" error, that's on us, we have just fixed it and it will be included on next release.

Thanks you so much for the interest, please don't hesitate to ask if you have further questions.

Regards,

Pedro S.

Tested again using x-www-form-urlencoded and that worked.

I had totally missed the example part of the documentation, extremely nice to include both python and powershell examples as well.

What I'm really interested in doing is automating agent deployments for Windows environments so I will probably ask more questions in the future. Are the github issues the right place for basic questions or do you have a live chat of some sorts as well?
