hi @simoneonofri , thank you for your feedback.
Specifications in the immersive-web WG (IWWG) are organized as core spec (WebXR Device API - sometimes called as WebXR Core) and extension modules (any other specifications). So, general mapping like Permissions API are mentioned and/or analyzed in the WebXR Device API spec, as you mentioned as 'particularly rich section'.
WebXR Device API has privacy and security explainer in their repository (as well as for some other horizontal areas), and I believe that is a sort of general mapping. Of course, review comments are welcome at any point. (Note, we're preparing security horizontal review request on WebXR Device API spec for upcoming CRS, which will be submitted shortly in weeks level. Comments are also welcome at that time.)

Hi @himorin, I am getting an error when trying to access the diff from previous charter link (I am pretty sure it worked very recently, maybe even yesterday). When trying to follow the diff link, I get a page titled 'Create Diff between HTML pages' with this error message near the top:

An error (I/O error: 403 Access to url 'https://www.w3.org/2022/07/immersive-Web-wg-charter.html' is not allowed) occured trying to get https://www.w3.org/2022/07/immersive-Web-wg-charter.html.

I'm quite not sure how htmldiff is working, but https://www.w3.org/2022/07/immersive-web-wg-charter.html itself can be shown via browser. (and worked when I've checked last week)

Thanks @himorin - I can see the latest charter; I particularly wanted to check some things in the diff. I'm pretty sure it was working until very recently (as recently as yesterday perhaps) - maybe there has been a problem with the diff tool.

Hi @himorin,
On the Security side I am reading the various deliverables:

Is there a general mapping of the risks of the Immersive Web, or do you think it is useful to do some thinking about it?

Small point, but the second paragraph of Scope should really be moved to Motivation and Background.

Otherwise this charter looks good to me!

No wide review requests were sent for additional reviews (for any of the deliverables) since May 2021 (eg PING requests). At least, the TAG was asked.

From the outside, it seems that this WG is operating under the radar, publishing a lot of new deliverables

It's not a blocker but I'd be interesting to understand if we're avoiding to do proper privacy and accessibility reviews here...

Just note.

No wide review requests were sent for additional reviews (for any of the deliverables) since May 2021 (eg PING requests). At least, the TAG was asked.

WG is under preparation for CRS republication of WebXR Device API, change log had been prepared, and working on preparation of self checklist and draft review requests.
