Hi @pjfoley

In what circumstances? The keys are generated in whatever directory you are
in when you run eyaml and the location can be configured using the hiera or
eyaml configuration. I keep mine under /var/lib/puppet as you suggest.

Hi @sihil

Thanks for the reply, thats what I thought but in the Readme.md file under the Storing the keys securely when using Puppet it suggests storing the keys in /etc/puppet/secure/keys.

I wasn't sure if there was something I was missing in the documentation.
