The cause of this is an erroneous rel-canonical link on http://christopheducamp.com/2014/01/11/Webmentions-Jekyll/ which rather than avoiding the problem of multiple variations of the same URL instead causes that problem :)
I've now extended the normalization to always remove a slash that directly follows another slash in the path part of a URL.
A follow up improvement that would be even better would be to look up the rel-canonical of the targeted page and assign the comment to the rel-canonical page.

@michielbdejong Are the mentions appearing as they should now?

@ChristopheDucamp You should look into why your rel-canonical is weird btw, not sure how eg. Google feels about it pointing to that URL, if nothing else it will at least starting using that erroneous URL rather than your real one to link to your page from the search results.

Thanks! The extra slash was indeed a typo in the html template, sorry we didn't catch that ourselves yesterday.

Merci Michiel et Voxpelli for your attention. This typo is now corrected in the head template. Really happy now to be able to study & practice future webmention uses.
We'll be happy to welcome you @mozilla Paris for a future indiewebcamp in Paris... Mid-november to be confirmed !

@ChristopheDucamp: Keep me posted when more info on that becomes available! :)
