my config files are at github.com/soufrabi/config-nvim
basically the type hints are floating on top of lsp suggestions which makes the upper lsp suggestions impossible to see
it happens the text being edited is near the middle of the screen(ie 70% time). in the picture lsp server being used is clangd. it would have been better if the type hints were above the lsp suggestions

lsp-zero doesn't trigger the type hint floating window. Do you have a plugin for that?

Does it happen when the completion item is small? That could be nvim-cmp's documentation window.

I'm not sure what's going in on here. But if that floating window is in fact nvim-cmp's documentation window, you can try to set a "max width" for the text in the completion item.

local cmp_format = require('lsp-zero').cmp_format({max_width = 50})

local cmp = require('cmp')
cmp.setup({
  formatting = cmp_format,
  --- other cmp options ....
})
