Name clash with exterior class about rbvmomi HOT 6 CLOSED

The problem must be that "t = @conn.type typename" returns your class rather than the rbvmomi one. But looking at the Connection class, this seems rather odd, because it has this:
if @loader.has? name
const_get(name)

So looks like "const_get('Network')" returns your class. Did you, by any chance, define your model inside the RbVmomi module namespace?

Thanks for the quick response. No I did not. All the classes are defined in normal models folder. The rails app is using a mongodb so the classes are not inheriting from activerecord so they may be defined at the top level

@charlierudolph I just started maintaining this project and saw that this issue is almost 4 years old. Is this still something I should look into or have you moved on to other things?

Looking through issues, it appears that namespace clashing is common throughout this project. I'm going to go ahead and close this, but I will be looking at ways to fix these types of issues this month.

Doesn't effect me anymore but might be nice if the models could just all be under a namespace to prevent chances of clashing
