[Question] Running App without any display about viro HOT 3 CLOSED

Hi @godmode97 , ARCore for Android should now be supported in the latest release of Viro 2.1.
You can view a list of officially supported devices https://developers.google.com/ar/discover/#supported_devices.
To update, you can view the instructions https://docs.viromedia.com/docs/releases.

We currently should support devices using Android 4.4 'Lollipop' (API level 21) or above that have proper hardware like a gyroscope and accelerometer. You can try anything higher than 19 and see if it's work.

What device are you using for you app? Are you getting those errors using the Viro Testbed or your own android project?

If it's your own project make your sure do the following:
Run the setup_ide.sh under your project root. This will setup the react-viro package properly so you don't get the errors above.

Further, AR is not supported yet for android. We are actively working on ARCore support which we plan to launch at early Nov in our 2.1 release, so ViroARScene wouldn't work yet, but ViroScene will.
