Can't Load Version: 2.3.9 Updated: May 15, 2016 about violentmonkey HOT 8 CLOSED

It's weird, it seems that your package is broken and files from the package are missing.
Follow the steps below to check it:

1. Open URL chrome://version/, find the location of user profile folder there, something like C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\profileName.
2. Open this folder from Explorer, then enter directory Extensions\jinjaccalgkegednnccohejagnlnfdag\VersionNumber.
3. After that you should see folders such as background, images, lib.
   
4. Enter lib, there should be scripts in the image below.
   

In your case, files may be missing here.

If this is the case, I think you can reinstall the package by downloading and dragging the CRX file into chrome://extensions page. DO NOT uninstall it so that the data should not be lost.

Which browser and which version? What do you mean by "not work"? Anything meaningful?

i use chrome browser Version 50.0.2661.102 m

i had try many times and only showing like that when i try click to open . too scared if i try uninstall and then install again (obviously all my script will be auto deleted when i uninstall my extension, correct?)

i use auto sync with dropbox but on the previous version violentmoneky the sync feature too sucks, always error when violentmonkey trying connect to dropbox . just said this is a supposing , if the sync feature on the previous version work properly maybe i dont care about losing my script because it will be auto synchonize by violentmonkey but unfortunately those feature seems not yet work properly .ahh my bad why i didn't backup my script :(

Would you please follow the steps below:

2. Find Violentmonkey > Inspect views and click on background page.
3. Switch to Console panel. Get the logs in background page.
4. Click on the toolbar icon and right click on the blank popup, inspect. Switch to Console panel and get the logs in popup page.

ah i found it now, all my script seriously disappeared from there after i follow that instructions (i guess that is last option, right?).
ok i give up, i'll try made new script again now and wish me still remember some my code hehe.
by the way i have some suggestion to you, that is i hope you make it work feature sync to dropbox or googledrive or onedrive or so. it will be helpful for us including for me :) i just dont want others got some problem as me, missing ours script. because on previous update the feature sync still error

Did you try reinstalling? I think that should work.

v2.3.9 fixes sync services.

BTW, I don't think your problem has anything to do with the extension itself. So may we close the issue now?
