That's wierd. If you take a look at http://codepen.io/viktor/pen/EgNpav the last item has a local image that get's lazyloaded as soon as it is in the viewport.
What are your settings? You should not set lazyload to false.

lazyload: true is all I pass as options. Yes, I saw on the example page, that it is working. This is, how I call the plugin:
