Mark discussions as read about vanilla HOT 8 CLOSED

this would especially be useful when migrating or upgrading from a previous forum where all discussions appear as unread. Although I can see this function being a plug in.

Though I don't htink the way that plugin does it is good one, since it resets viewed post count.

If you have a better way of doing it, I'm all ears. :) If it's not "good" then it was the "least bad" I could think of given Vanilla's architecture and what would confuse users least.

I know how to do that, but that's kinda wrong. But more user friendly. :)

Just mark all currently visible discussions as read. For most users that would be enough.

Then it's lying though. As soon as you go back a page, it would show 'New' which would be annoying.
