Add an event calendar about vala-www HOT 6 OPEN

Does anybody have examples of websites with an event calendar that they like?

@colinkiama I know about https://events.gnome.org/, but it's not integrated into their site.

I could try to come up with some design.

Some context from the OP who suggested this:

Something like this e.g. https://ical.marudot.com/ You can also do this with gmail calendar or I think any other calendar. It would be nice create a shared event that you can add to calendar so it will remind that there is a meetup. Because I do not use discord regularly and I'm not sure I'll remember to open it. Just saying for myself 😅, maybe it will also help others ☺️

A synced calendar would be pretty cool but I think for now, being able to add each event to your calendar would be enough.

We could probably use events.gnome.org. That would be much simpler than hosting stuff ourselves.

That sounds pretty reasonable to be honest. It even has the option to add an event directly to your calendar. @RealDoigt have you tried adding the event to https://events.gnome.org yet?
