@GowthamJadon I try to add this permission but for me doesn't work. When checkAppUpdate is called android ask the permission for Install unknown apps but if mark to allow nothing happen. Apk doesn't download. Does anyone have the same issue?

Hmm I have made some search and I found that your need to explicitly go inside the app and allow it to install the apk.

Hi ,
I have found a solution
but i'm not sure that will be the greatest one
in the manifest file
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES"
/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.settings.MANAGE_UNKNOWN_APP_SOURCES"
/>
<uses-permission android:name=
"android.settings.action.MANAGE_OVERLAY_PERMISSION" />
i have add these permissions
after that installation worked fine....
