Seems that the row is still selected after the dialog is closed. So it's needed 1 extra click on the element to deselect it.

IIRC there was some call to a grid-flow method that should deactivate grid in client side. The thing is why it does not work only in ie11
from bakery-app-starter-flow-spring.
Small investigation results:
I tried on grid selection change along with getGrid().deselectAll() to call:
getGrid().getElement().setProperty("activeItem", null);
doesn't fully fix the bug (this approach we used to use when grid didn't have java apigetElement().callFunction("resetActiveItem");
which isthis.$.grid.activeItem = null;

But actually the setProperty from flow should do the same, unless there is a bug in flow.
Probably grid-flow should offer an API for deselecting active item, or just give that out-of-the-box by including that reset in the deselectAll

Created an issue about it: https://github.com/vaadin/vaadin-grid-flow/issues/218
