Currently, the arc method will move the path to the starting position of the arc with a lineTo command unless the segments are empty, in which case it'll use moveTo.
To fix your example, we would just have to test whether the first and only segment is a moveTo (like in your case) and if it is, instead of adding a new lineTo, we change the moveTo so it moves to the starting position of the arc.
Would like to get additional input from @basecode and @davidaurelio on this.
