If this were to be done it should be done via printable CSS. I would recommend very strongly against a format like PDF.

There is a print-specific stylesheet to try to address the need for a printed version using CSS as @vz3 suggests. If you have specific suggestions for improving the format of the printed version of the HTML, let us know!
Also, if there is some reason that printing the HTML/saving it as a PDF does not work for you, I would love to better understand the use case.

Another way is to generate each play (1 thru 13) in a PDF version and place them on the webpage available to download.
The reason behind this is that is would be useful for a user who is going through the list to have a readable document in hand. Printing from the browser will print the whole page with headers and footers.

@AnasGhadieh So that I understand, you are asking for a way to print each play individually, is that right? i.e. Just print "Play 9"

Dare I ask if the source is available as XML? Seems to me it would be ideal if content could be published from a single source into a variety of formats for viewing and downloading such as XHTML, PDF, EPUB,

Great document by the way! So happy to see things moving in the right direction and as an Agile practioner I like the portions I reviewed.

@cew821, I personally know how to do that, one way to copy/paste the text into Word then print....
I am trying to have it in multiple formats, starting with the simpliest (PDF)
@peisenberg I agree with you

@peisenberg The HTML is generated from Markdown files, which you can view in this directory: https://github.com/WhiteHouse/playbook/tree/gh-pages/_plays
From these Markdown files, it should be possible to generate almost any kind of file format.

Thank you @peisenberg
