Question about opened about opened HOT 1 CLOSED

Hey there, sorry about the delay, my response apparently didn't go through here. Thanks a lot for the compliment, I did put a lot of work into it. I won't be supporting this myself in the near future for a couple of reasons:

1. It's based on OpenGUI, which as far as I understand isn't very relevant after the latest GUI update of Unity
2. This project is so involved (implementing serialization engine OpenFile) and tries to work around Unity so much that I consider it a better use of my (and anyone else's) time to just switch to an engine that supports modding better.
3. Only like 10 people have ever shown interest in this project, so even if I was to maintain it anyway, not a lot of people would benefit from it.
4. An in-game editor is an immense amount of work, and I can only advise against letting it hold you back from completing your game. It definitely set my own development back at least 8 months.

Ever since Godot Engine was released and the editor client for Unreal Engine went open source, I have been moving my projects onto those, as they just suit my needs (such as modding support) a lot better. Unity is still good for its own reasons, but I've always felt trapped in it, like there was so much more a game engine was supposed to be able to do (hence all of my plugins, which are essentially just basic features of almost every other engine).
