Welcome! Thanks for posting your first issue. The way things work here is that while customer issues are prioritized,
other issues go into our backlog where they are assessed and fitted into the roadmap when suitable.
If you need to get this done, consider buying a license which also enables you to use it in your commercial products.
More information can be found on https://unidoc.io/

Hi @Gordy96,
Could you tell us the detail about what operations that you are trying to do or share the code snippet with us?
Here's the example for loading licenses:
- Offline license https://github.com/unidoc/unioffice-examples/blob/master/license/offline/main.go
- Metered license https://github.com/unidoc/unioffice-examples/blob/master/license/metered/main.go
Best regards,
Ali
from unioffice.
Hi @sampila, the offline one, I believe
err := license.SetLicenseKey(key, customerName)
if err != nil {
return err
}
I had an error that said customer name mismatch, expected 'blahblah\n', but got 'blahblah'
Then I thought maybe something wrong on the actual key and added \n
to it and error became customer name mismatch, expected 'blahblah\n\n', but got 'blahblah'
. Which concludes that there already was extra \n
in the first place and error message misled me. After I removed extra \n
from my customerName
error disappeared

Hi @Gordy96 thank you for reporting this.
We will do fix on that error message.
As for now, are you able to load the license and use UniOffice?
from unioffice.
Yes all's good now
from unioffice.
Thank you for the confirmation.
We closing this issue now.
