Hmm, sounds like you would need to tweak the U-Boot and Linux source code to support this? You can take a look at the corresponding repo forks that are used to build this image: https://github.com/unframework/u-boot/tree/2021.01-f1c100s and https://github.com/unframework/linux/tree/nano-5.11. Also the code will depend on how you set up your connection to the Flash storage, etc. Essentially you are defining your own dev board, by the sound of it?

That's the general idea!
I've been trying to work with embedded Linux for a while now, after the raspi and CM4 got boring, I wanted to spin my own boards, and so I bought to chips to get started the V3s and the F1C100. I want to use the F1C100 as the main processor for a nice alarm clock. Haven't designed the board yet, due to scepticalness of AliExpress.
