This link results in a 404. And there is no recent commit that removed the files there. Where did you get that link from?

The .mo files are binary and should only be located in cura-binary-data, not in Cura.

Wow. I have no idea why that link is broken (or where I got it). But there is a file conflict here. Maybe the cura installer is generating the .mo files at build time?

The CMake script has a target to generate them. I imagine it can also install them (don't know that by heart though). Generating them is explicitly made optional because we didn't want to require gettext as a build dependency. That's why we provide binaries in this repository.

Ok that's what's going on here then I think. I'm ending up with those files in my system from the cura make/install process. I'll just delete the mo files from this repo before I install it.

The CMake target that generates them doesn't need to be executed to install, so we'll close this.
