JSX elements absent from `textDocument/documentSymbol` response about typescript-language-server HOT 3 CLOSED

It appears to be an expected behavior from tsserver (typescript's API) since it works like that in VSCode also.

You can inquiry more about that in the Typescript repo. I can't provide reasoning here as the functionality is implemented in Typescript.

Well, there's something I misunderstand, does it mean the server cannot provide me with the information that a JSX tag is in fact a React JSX element when I am hovering it ?

How does the server allow me to jump to the definition of such React JSX element if such entity is not a symbol ?

I'm just saying that the document symbols functionality doesn't expose them.
The functionality is provided by the underlying typescript API, not this server directly, so you have ask for more info in the Typescript repo.
