Exactly, it should be pinned to 3.0.0-beta.2. Or it should be updated, but the format I chose was only supported in beta.2 for some reason.

Ah, the clap version should probably be pinned or clap shoud be updated.

Using 3.0.0-beta.5 for clap and clap_generate didnt help.

Right now following the instructions the package fails to compile.
I was able to compile from the git using
cargo install --git https://github.com/tversteeg/emplace
from emplace.
