Off the top of my head I believe those are the only things you need. It should work on PHP 5.5-7.1 so as long as you're using a PHP version from like the last 5 years you should be fine. As for what could be causing it, it's hard to say because a 500 error would be thrown due to any kind of PHP error. Do you have logs setup on your pi? If you can find your web server's error log (due to the 500 error I'm guessing you're using a web server) and send the most recent logs, it would help me try to diagnose the problem for you.

Tell us more info about your installation... You have Raspbian? PHP5 or PHP7? Uses Caddy server? Apache/nginx?

Thanks to the both of you, I figured it out using the error logs. Turns out my cURL wasn't loaded properly in php so it constantly threw an error. A re-install fixed the problem...
Sorry for this obvious fix, I couldn't get my php to show the errors so I was kinda lost. But the error logs helped me out.
