Alternatives to including OpenSSL? about airfloat HOT 2 CLOSED

Actually I did use the link you provided, back when AirFloat was in the App Store. But I found it way to combersome and messy in the repository. So I instead decided for the open sourcing to include a precompiled static version.

If we need actual dynamic linking against it in Cydia, I think the best approach is the put a precomiled dynamic version of OpenSSL into the iOS SDK. I'll test some ways of doing this, and put it in the dev branch. Also if you have any ideas yourself, feel free to try it out, and then I will pull.

Or what do you think? The SDK inclusion method does make it a bit difficult for newcomers to setup their system in order to compile AirFloat.

You have a good point. I don't see any better solution. Like I said
since AirFloat doesn't actually handle any sensitive data via the
encryption code the way you have it set up is probably the best
situation.
