This would work :

NSCondition *condition = [NSCondition new];

[[SVHTTPClient sharedClient] GET:nil
                      parameters:nil
                      completion:^(id response, NSHTTPURLResponse *urlResponse, NSError *error) {
                          [condition lock], [condition signal], [condition unlock];
                      }];

[condition lock], [condition wait], [condition unlock];

However, it's definitely a workaround. It could be better.

Hi gcamp
Thank you for the answer,

I tried the code and change the url and parameters to appropriate value, but unfortunately it does not work as expected

the app freeze/stopped after calling the request (appeared on the log), apparently it never enter the completion code (did NSLog in the completion code but it does not show up), so i assumed it's just stop in the condition wait and never executed the [condition signal].

Any ideas and workaround?

Thank you

Yep, should have specified, that code should be run from a background thread. Try to wrap it around in a dispatch_async. Anyway, making synchronous HTTP operation on the main thread is a very bad idea.
