It's because your content is private. You would use getSignedPolicyURL() or getSignedCannedURL() to access private content - which would require you to pass the KeyPairId to the $trustedSigners parameter when calling createDistribution().
This is currently not in the class documentation but will hopefully be added soon.

seems strange.
All the bucket content is created as public, and I create the distribution to this bucket.
Also when I use @Version 0.4.0 to createDistribution; this is working fine. I am able to access using the cloud front domain

Got the issue :)
__getCloudFrontDistributionConfigXML function has 'TrustedSigners' tag added without any values.
