There's not, currently. I explored this early on but it was adding a lot of complication so I went back to basics.

With rails.vim, I wrapped this pattern up in :.Rrunner. It would be easy enough to do something similar for plain Ruby projects. Would this even be useful to anyone other than Rubyists?

I cannot think of another use-case at this point and I am now using the :.Rrunner instead. I guess someone can reopen this if they find another use-case.

@tpope How did you "wrap this pattern up in :.Rrunner? I would like to do the same, but I can not quite figure out how. I have to run rspec inside a virtual machine using ssh but I can only mnage to execute bundle exec ... locally.

Change 'makeprg', run :Make, restore 'makeprg'.
