Please review the latest build. Logback recently changed how they handle this and we applied the same. Basically it's getting dupilcate catalina.home if you define it. That is because logback internally is adding catalina.home itself.
This was introduced if I recall correctly in logback 1.1.5. Logback team entirely changed their internal code. That is why you cannot use catalina.home any longer with newer versions. You still can on older versions. If you believe I didn't document that well enough, please go ahead and raise a pull request fixing inconsistences in documentation that will help allieviate the issue. The ultimate issue though is how logback-access was modified in its handling not with this library in general. Now part of the issue is that I don't have time to go back through and rebuild a lot of the zip files so it's more forward driven. The best option generally if needed is to just build from the source as we provide no source code and this simply is a wrapper.
