Hi, this seems really interesting, I will try to add this functinality to the library too (when I can find free time, maybe this weekend). houqp, would you mind if we look into it together? I will keep informed about my progress on a new branch.

Hi, I'm creating the new branch and will try to add the chropleth functionality to the angularj-leaflet-directive. Give me some time and we can coordinate us to make a sample and some tests.

Hi @tombatossals ,
I see some commits in the chloropeth branch, is the feature already ready? If there is any help I can do with testing count me in.

Hi @vumaasha
Yes I have some work done with the choropleth branch (I renamed it to "geojson"), I have been working on an example and now I'm trying to decide which would be the easier interfeace to interact with the Leaflet geojson API functionality.

Could you see the demo (actually working) of the "geojson" branch and tell me what you think? It's named "geojson-example.html" inside the "examples" directory.

@tombatossals Hi I took a look at the example, It looks great for the first version. Also, a legend for the scale of the colors would be helpful. ( like a legend shown in http://leafletjs.com/examples/choropleth.html first map)

tombatossals avatar tombatossals commented on August 15, 2024

Great suggestion, I will add the possibility to visualize/change the legend.

Hi @vumaasha, @houqp, I have implemented a legend and the geojson functionality, it's working with two new demos, legend-example.html, and geojson-example.html.

I will merge it to the main branch if you think it's good enough.

houqp avatar houqp commented on August 15, 2024

awesome!

I will be out 4 days for a conference, and will play with it when I am back.

Feel free to merge it to master :)

Great! Nice to hear you again. I'm going to merge, it won't break anything nor break the current API.

Maybe the demo could be improved, I have some ideas about it. Let me work on it some time.

Hi, we have this code merged with the main branch. The API to use it could be optimized, simplified or we can add more features to it later.

You can see it working here, with a legend demo:
http://tombatossals.github.io/angular-leaflet-directive/examples/legend-example.html

And a geojson demo:
