Does it work for you? I just tried the updated code and maxBounds still seems to be undefined inside the directive and therefor the maxBounds are not set.

Ups, you're right it was not working. The bound variable must be all lowercase:

        maxBounds: '=maxbounds',

Try the example, I think now it's working:

Yes, that did the job, thanks. Good to know, that the bound var has to be lower case... can't find anything in the docs tough.
