docker-compose on Linux: "host" network_mode is incompatible with port_bindings about playground HOT 3 CLOSED

Had the same problem when I upgraded the docker-compose, just remove the ports mapping when using network mode host:

service:
    network_mode: host
    container_name: service
    image: "..."
    # ports:                  <-- remove this
    #     - "8081:8081"

from playground.

The problem here isn't the version as much as the network_mode: Linux defaults to host mod, which doesn't support port mappings, evidently: https://docs.docker.com/network/host/
