Unfortunately development stopped during the christmas/new year period due to limited time but I will continue. Sorry that it is taking so long

If you are interested you can check out the current development build of Tabs Aside 3 at https://github.com/tim-we/tabs-aside/releases (it says October 9, 2018 even though I just updated it).
The core functionality is pretty much done but, whats still missing is the migration of the stored data from previous versions (settings, not the bookmarks/tabs) and a few small things.
Shouldn't take too long now but I can't promise anything.

Installing the preview would temporarily replace Tabs Aside 2 until the next restart of Firefox.
You will have to set the bookmark root folder manually via the options page as automatic discovery is not implemented yet.
