hello I downloaded the bot but when I press the automatic mode the bot moves the mouse and then comes out it doesn't respond. Does it only happen to me?

No matter which one I try (Kong or Steam) my character just stands there and the bot never starts and it goes into a Not Responding state. It even sometimes in Chrome opens a random new tab to a random game page. I have correctly followed the steps for both ways yet the bot still does not perform.

Good morning, developers. I am interested to know if the fishing bot is detectable if I use it or in some way my character is at risk of being banned by Kongregate. I understand that as it is a program for external use, it should not be allowed, and even if it is not a hack as such, perhaps if there is a risk of banning.

After starting up and filling the criteria on both steam and Kongregate
both displayed could not find start button and I have not idea how to fix this I even tried with the last three versions of the fisher

when i click find location it gathers some coord (no idea if they are the right ones). if i hit auto fishing the programs clicks way under the ''start'' buton and clicks on the bottom of my screen. at the same time the app freezes and does not unfreeze.

i have tried running both steam and kong and also tried older versions. i have a single monitor (laptop) and im running on win10.

The program becomes unresponsive when initiating auto mode.

So I go to steam, boot the BH, then boot the .exe

The I select steam in the app, Then the blue rod, then the find start botton, then hit start on BH. Then hit the auto mode button, and the app freezes.

I am running win10-64bit and on a i5-8300 and a gtx 1050ti.

Any suggestions on how to get this working would be appreicated.

I will mention I ran through the windows legacy compatibility options, none of them resolved the issue.

Fish bot does't work on mac.

1. Installed with PlayeOnMac
2. Launched .exe and game on Kongregate
3. set upped platform and right rod
4. clicked find start location
5. got an error screen like the game was closed

Describe the bug
So the fishing bot keeps messing up... it'll randomly forget to move the mouse away from the Start, Cast, Catch, Trade button (which changes color based on mouse placement). This in turn will cause the bot to hang waiting for the button to appear. If you miss the catch during this. It'll hang forever in the It got away! dialog box... if this sits forever like this... the main bot will re-awaken and restart the BHBot... unless the user manually closes the It got away! box and does something else... Then the fishing bot will still be waiting in the back ground until you click fishing and try to catch something again and it'll start again... (I know this b/c I accidentally discovered this.) If this is allowed to happen (worst case scenario)... we maybe using a few instances of the fishing bot while the normal bot is working and tieing up resources.

As far as the bot itself hanging for that button...if you manually close the it got away box... make sure you return the game to the capture button and it'll re-continue.

Things to consider
I thought first it was b/c of my wireless mouse was shutting off and sending a signal messing it up. But I manually turned it off and watched and it just kept happening. And I would have to turn it back on and correct it's mouse placement.

After fixing the placement of my mouse for the bot a few dozen times, it started operating perfectly for 5 minutes. So maybe something is going on in the background of the PC that's slowing it down or something?

Solution
Add a few more safe guard steps to ensure the mouse pointer is away or include the button images being depressed as targets too.

Describe the bug
After adding the step of: "java -jar bh-fisher.jar " the bot will click "start" on the fishing spot, but won't cast afterward.

The program has never cast my Legendary fishing rod to maximum (56), usually cast between 45 and 50. I have tried to adjust the Option delay, but makes no difference

Hi tiemonl, first of all let me compliment you for this amazing tool. 😄

Let me introduce me: I am ilpersi, current maintainer of BHBot. As you can see this is a helper tool for Bit Heroes that supports users with leveling.

The bot has many different features and it is also able to collect fishing baits daily. If properly configured, the bot can also run unattended: when this happens, a lot of baits are collected and not used.

Currently, the only possible way to consume all the baits is to stop the bot and manually run your fishing bot. It works fine and if this could be done unattended it would be wonderful.

Describe the solution you'd like
It would be nice to have some kind of integration features.

They could be simple:

• being able to set up the bot using command line arguments (to set up parameters like the rod type and the number of baits)
• being able to autostart the bot (maybe always with some cmd line argument)
• having a return value from the bot to understand if there were issues

Or if you prefer also complex like DLL calls, Pipe integration or whatever is your preferred way to do that as long as it is language independent (BHBot is developed in Java).

Describe alternatives you've considered
We currently support a hacky integration with your fishing bot using an AutoIT script that sets up the bot and runs it simulating mouse clicks. As you can guess, this is not the best solution out there, that is why we are asking for some kind of integration capabilities.

I hope we can find a way to integrate the tools. Do not hesitate to let me know if you have any doubt.

then the fishing script stops responding, and it clicks about 1/5 too low on my screen, too. (Which then un-focuses the program and pushes it to the background, maybe that's what is causing the crash?)

Hey, I just want to say great job on this. This is fantastic. Just have a question;

Using the Trolling rod, the bot casts at 40 range (out of 44) every time when I select the trolling rod (which is what I am using in-game) which gives me 44 range max. Is there something I missed? Is there a way to configure this?

Edit: Found the debug options and calibrated the range. Seems to be perfect at 1394 range for me. Don't know if using a high-resolution desktop makes a difference. I also have a nice g-sync monitor but I get the feeling it doesn't matter. It's probably more about the resolution. I followed the directions and set the in-game resolution to 800 x 600 and then pressed the find start location button.

You can delete this, although maybe we can try to find out why it doesn't find the right value(1394) right away. I know its probably different for each person.

When I click Find Start Location, it gives me an error, saying Start Button cannot be found

When I launch the jar file and tried to use the code for Auto Fishing, it keeps on saying "Start button not found. Exit code 1". The first 2 pictures below showed how my screen looks like when I launched the code, the 3rd picture shows how I entered the code. I switches back to either of the first 2 pictures when playing. It's similar to issue #39. But I don't actually see a solution been added to the issue when I viewed it. So here I am...

I'm a Mac user and I plays on kongregate too. I tried with and without the external monitor. The colour on my screen is exactly the same with the button in the picture you put in README, I measured it with colour picker on mac.

Also, I realised that the code you entered into terminal might result in "Unable to access jarfile bh-fisher.jar". What I used is including the exact position of the file, for example, 'java -jar "/Users/BlahBlah/Desktop/bh-fisher.jar" 103'

Finally, thanks so much for your effort to develop this. Although it's not working for me but still, thanks so much.

Well, if a lot of people are using this (including me) I don't supose you can get banned, BUT, it's always good to take some precautions.
Here go some suggestions:
1 - Instead of just creating a "click event" in the screen position, simulate a "mouse drag", even if really quick. Things like this tend to be related to bots.
2 - When configuring, select multiple spots in the screen button to click and random between then, clicking the exact same point over and over is easy to track.
3 - Have a nice day :D

When you try to use a lot of baits (more than 800) the app crashes.

The application always goes into not responding when i click Autofish, regardless of how long i wait it does not unfreeze.

I setup the start button location as per the instructions and am running the game on 800x600 using the steam client.

Running Win10 64 bit. Fully patched etc. I have also tried all versions of the fisher and the problem is consistent with each version.

any help would be very much appreciated.

Fishing Bot not working on Ubuntu Linux with Wine.

I'm playing on kongregate.
It finds the start location but when I click Auto Mode it moves the mouse cursos to the start button and then the program crash.

Please considere making a linux version, or at least try to fix this. Thank you.

While using Bit Heroes in the browser, sometimes the results of a fishing event lag and delay by less than a second, causing the application to prompt casting the line again before the "start" button is available again. This will cause the bot to remain stuck in the "Performing Cast" task that freezes the application until force closed or until you manually start a cast in the game

Same bug as described before : after performing the fishing correctly, it freeze at the screen that display the fishing's result. This time i tryed to perform 1 fishing only, then manually do "escape" to return to the fishing screen, then tryed to relaunch the fishing 1 time (by clicking on "auto mode") and i obtained this error :
