Do you mean filter becomes select and select becomes project? In plyrmr I use subset for row selection and select for column selection.

I'm not so keen on this proposal anymore, although I'm not in love with the function names. mutate
vs select
is particularly confusing - they can both be used to select columns, but the select
interface makes it a bit easier to select groups of columns (using e.g. wt:disp
)
