It's not a problem with the package per se, I believe. It install fine for me with those same commands:

** testing if installed package can be loaded from final location
** testing if installed package keeps a record of temporary installation path

  1. What's your Sys.info() output?
  2. Can you confirm that BacDive_email= & BacDive_password= values are set, and work correctly when logging in manually?
