Typed signature is not showing up when regenerated from the server about signature-pad HOT 3 CLOSED

Yeah, I guess that's a feature I didn't really think about.
What I had planned was the name to just be put into 2 places: the input and the .typed <div>.

If you look at the regenerate signature example, you can see there's a <div> with the name in it also, like this:

<div class="typed">Sir John A. Macdonald</div>

Thank you @thomasjbradley, sounds like I can just set that div's text directly in $(document).ready as a workaround. I'll try that. I realize that when you release these projects into the wild, lots of unforeseen use cases come up that may not be part of the original design! Thank you again for this excellent plugin.

Yes, this worked in $(document).ready

if ( $("#signature_text").val().length ) {
$(".typed").text( $("#signature_text").val() )
}
