Interesting, yes it wouldn't compile at the time I wrote that ScalaFiddle, at least I don't think I would have posted that link if it was working! My best guess is that some underlying version changes for scala compiler or perhaps scalajs compiler has fixed it, as the Binding.scala library version did not change.
