Well, not really ahead, but let's just say I totally agree with you : having video support would be an awesome improvement. I am currently focusing on images, as a first step, but as soon as everything works well enough, I'll start working on video support.

Fun fact : the very first version of photoshow was inspired by a website I did for displaying videos ;)

That's great news ! I'll follow your progress more closely now :)

Your fun fact turns out to be even more fun : I myself did a small video-viewing website after I unsuccessfully tried to hack into Picoplog, as a way to publish small videoclips without using Picasaweb or flooding my YouTube account. With some CSS tweaking, I'll be more than happy to switch to PhotoShow !

What "css tweaking" do you have in mind ? Maybe I can already implement some of it.

Also, I am thinking of giving the possibility to the admin to enter his own CSS properties, and choosing between various layouts, so... this may help you with the "tweaking".

I don't know precisely, that's related to my personal theming tastes. It would be something simple and minimalistic, à la Picoplog.
