That's a significant bug, thanks for reporting it!
I'm current working on a solution to the orientation problems. And so this bug will be fixed with it, since it's related.
And i'm glad you like it.

It appears as though if you comment out this line in IDMPhotoBrowser.m
_pagingScrollView.autoresizingMask = UIViewAutoresizingFlexibleWidth | UIViewAutoresizingFlexibleHeight;
then it will not reset to the wrong photo.
