Unfortunately, Opera currently has WebSocket support disabled by default and it seems that they haven't updated it in quite a while.

The latest information from Opera I can find on the feature is this outdated blog post: http://my.opera.com/core/blog/websockets

And it is still disabled by default in the latest version of Opera 11. I'm really disappointed in them for not finishing their implementation of the now-finalized RFC and releasing it. :(

You can keep an eye on which browsers support WebSockets here: http://caniuse.com/#feat=websockets
Only the browsers listed as full bright green will work with WebSocket-Node.
