I tryed using RootlessJamesDSP with PowerAmp on Android 13 and it did work for me on first try. I just installed PowerAmp tried it, it worked and then uninstalled again.
My device is Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC with Android 13 crDroid ROM.

Hello, just wanted to add that using the latest PowerAMP build on my S7 and S9+ there is no output, however output is working on a myriad of other applications without issue.
