Thanks for the report. This is an "issue" with gitsigns. I have the changes in my local version that I am waiting to push. Ill keep this issue open untill I push the fixes.

I thought I went through everything but when I commented out every line in init.lua and enabled one and one until I found one that gave the error again, and it was as follows
config.plug.gitsigns
Now error is gone and launches with no issues.
