Option "Upload" - Image thumb about unyson HOT 4 CLOSED

Above dimensions of 150x150px works ok, but below the photo dimensions are aggravated.

Are you saying that if you select an image smaller than 150x150px into the upload option type then it gets squashed and does not look good, like this:

If this is what you are saying then it happens because WordPress does not make a thumbnail of an image (like image-150x150.png) when an image smaller than the default thumbnail size is uploaded to the media library. In such case the upload option type does not take the thumbnail (because it does not have one) and just takes the original small image, which may or may not look good in the 50x50px div into which the upload option type puts the image.

Not sure though how it may look good in the background-image and multi-upload option types, because they behave the same way.

If all of this does not make sense to you, or I misunderstood completely the issue feel free to comment and maybe share some screenshots for a better understanding.

Hi again @MichaelRise, just wanted to make it clear that it happens because WordPress doesn't make a thumbnail that would look nice in the upload option type, so there is nothing much that we can do here.

I am closing this issue.
