I did some further investigations, and it seems the coveralls.io web site was not in a good shape for some time today.
I verified that the .coverage
file after the second run with the --cov-append
option did not change its size, so the additional data was probably added to the existing data, instead of just appending more data. This suggests the data structure has not changed, and coveralls-python would not see any difference with such a file.
The most recent data at coveralls.io from our project is now correct:
