You need to configure the plugin not to use sudo for the run_command mixin.

Yes I did try to this, but docker needs sudo to run on my environment (Ubuntu 14.04)

Sorry, I assumed you could run docker as your user and had the same problem I was. Have you considered that as a solution?

Alternatively, you enable your user and/or group to have passwordless sudoers access only to docker.

But adding passwordless sudo to /usr/bin/docker is not enough, docker fails at some point with permission denied errors.
