Chrome infers the field type from the <label> value as well as the <input> attributes about disableautofill.js HOT 2 CLOSED

Thanks for the quick response, @terrylinooo. I'm getting the same result as you in your jsFiddle example (i.e. Chrome Autocomplete doesn't kick in), even if I modify it to give the <input> an ID and add a for="myId" to the label to add a direct link between the two elements.

This leaves me a little stumped as to why the same wasn't true for my implementation, in which if I change the label text to something unrelated (like the below) autocomplete does stop:
