These flags in most cases should not require further intervention from end user, the default should work well for yadcc.

Note that what you see in Flare’s code might not be the “real” defaults. Yadcc override some of them in entry.cc according to its own use case.

Internally none of the mentioned flags is overridden on deployment, across a wide range of servers, from 8 cores to sub-hundred cores.

There’s no direct relationship between the flags. They mostly depends on in which scenario Flare is intended to be used, and controls different aspects of Flare. Each flag comes with a brief explanation and can be shown with yadcc -h.

You should focus more on yadcc’s own flags if the defaults does not satisfy your needs.
